Working on paper with this abstract.  When I work on paper I often feel much more free, as if I don't have to get it right. I like that. Nice abstracts come from this. However, they do need to be framed. Ideas to work with include matting with a frame, floated over a matt and framed or could also be mounted on a cradle board.

Enjoy!!

I'm not posting near as much now as I did back when I began this blog back in 2008.  I was painting and posting nearly every day.  It was new to me and I enjoyed it. Fast forward to 2015 and I'm having to make myself post at least once a week. The good news is that I am still passionately painting and enjoying the process of creating. I know that the solution to this problem is that I am needing to change my blogging style so that I'm having fun with it.  Like painting.  But how do I get there?   I believe it's a willingness to take that risk. This painting is a recent creation that I would describe as being purely abstract expressionistic.  Total freedom. No worries.
